Crew Leader

At Riepenhoff, our Crew Leaders are responsible for leading and working alongside crew members to complete a wide range of landscape maintenance and installation services. This role ensures projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to company quality standards while maintaining a positive and productive team environment.

Previous landscaping or outdoor labor experience required

Leadership or crew supervision experience

Ability to safely operate landscaping tools and equipment

Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

Capable of working outdoors in varied weather conditions

Ability to lift and move materials as needed for the job at hand

Must be able to effectively communicate with crew members

Valid driver’s license is required

Lead and assist with landscape maintenance and installation projects

Manage and participate in mowing/trimming routes

Perform general landscaping tasks such as moving soil, seeding, removing trees or shrubs, installing mulch and new plantings

Perform Lawn Aeration services

Make sure all crew members are accurately using required apps for job tracking

Manage and participate in winter snow removal operations, including plowing, shoveling, and applying deicing materials

Assist with additional services as needed, which may include installing landscaping lighting, operating equipment such as a skid steer, installing drainage solutions and more

Help with other areas of business during slower landscaping periods, which may include power washing, painting, or general labor tasks

Crew Member

Crew Members are one of the most important roles within Riepenhoff. Our Crew Members work as part of a landscaping team to complete a variety of landscape maintenance and installation services. This role supports the Crew Leader in completing projects efficiently, safely, and to company quality standards while maintaining clean and professional job sites.

Assist with landscape maintenance and installation projects

Perform edging and mulch installation for landscape beds

Assist with pruning and general plant care as needed

Participate in mowing/trimming routes

Perform general landscaping tasks including but not limited to moving soil, seeding, removing trees or shrubs, and installing new plantings

Assist with seasonal services such as spring and fall cleanups

Take instructions from your assigned Crew Leader and communicate effectively with your crew members

Participate in winter snow removal operations which may include but are not limited to shoveling hard surfaces and applying deicing materials

Help with other areas of business during the slower landscape periods, which may include power washing, painting, or other general labor tasks

Assist with additional services as needed, such as assisting with landscape lighting installations, operating equipment (for example: skid steers), and assisting with drainage solution installations
